This has been a long dark winter in Oregon. Last year we had Joshy living with us, this year, not. He became a full fledged Copywriter and started his job with TDA in Boulder, Co. We miss him a lot! He is the artist that built this treehouse. this is only part of the story............which deserves telling.
I believe it was the end of June 2009. He was quite despondent...no job, no job, no job.
We were talking out on the front porch about worthiness. You know, one of those Mum~Son talks.
We both paused and sighed because really, there was no concrete solution......no job means no job.
So, when you are in the hallway...pause and wait. I suggested he "Chop wood and carry water." It is a Buddhist saying. Well, instead of chopping wood....he sawed wood, hammered wood and created the best darn three story tree house one will ever find in Oregon. This is his legacy!!
